Tee Up for a Great Cause: The AllenForce “Par-Tee” Charity Golf Outing!
Hey everyone! As a longtime golfer and someone who’s spent a good bit of time helping non-profits, especially those supporting our veterans, I get really excited when these two worlds come together. And let me tell you, the AllenForce “Par-Tee” Charity Golf Outing is an event that truly stands out! If you’re looking to enjoy a fantastic day of golf while making a real difference in the lives of our military heroes and their families, this is one event you won’t want to miss. Please visit Allenforce.org to find out more about this fantastic charity and the great work that it does.
So, what’s the AllenForce “Par-Tee” all about? Well, first and foremost, it’s about supporting an incredible organization. AllenForce is dedicated to providing free programming and services for veterans of all eras and their loved ones. Think about health, fitness, recreation, and that all-important sense of community. They’re doing amazing work, and this golf outing is a key fundraiser to help them continue offering these vital resources.
Now, this isn’t your average, stuffy golf tournament. AllenForce puts on a military-themed event that’s all about camaraderie, veteran culture, and, of course, having a blast on the links! They welcome golfers of all abilities, so whether you’re a scratch golfer or just enjoy a friendly round, you’ll fit right in.
Get ready for some unique, military-related hole challenges that you won’t see anywhere else. Imagine teeing off from an adaptive golf cart or even (safely!) shooting your golf ball out of an inert AR15! How cool is that? They even have fun contests like “spot the sniper” to get strokes off your team’s score and a prize for the best-dressed camouflaged team. It’s clear they’re focused on making the day memorable and fun, emphasizing the R&R and connection that’s so important.
The upcoming Golf “Par-Tee” with AllenForce Charity Outing, Benefitting Veterans and their Families is scheduled for Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Inwood Golf Course located at 3200 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431. Registration and sign in begins at 0730 and The day starts at 0845 with the Anthem and announcements. Tee off 0900, leading into a shotgun start, and wraps up with an after-party dinner filled with awards, stories, and more opportunities to support this great cause. Still wondering about this event? Here are some photos from last year’s event.

You can get involved as an individual golfer, put together a foursome (your “Unit”!), or even explore various sponsorship opportunities to showcase your support. Every registration and sponsorship dollar goes directly to helping AllenForce provide their free services to hundreds of veterans and their families throughout the year. Think about the impact: your day of golf could help fund a SheForce Sunday event for women veterans or other Veterans Recreational Activity for the whole family!
Beyond the unique challenges, there are also traditional contests like closest to the pin and longest drive (of a marshmallow – yes, you read that right!). And of course, there’s the coveted traveling trophy for the winning team.
If you’re planning to join, make sure you’ve got your golf gear ready for a full day on the course. Comfortable shoes, your favorite clubs, and maybe some extra balls for those unique challenges! And hey, if you’re looking to upgrade any of your equipment or stock up on essentials, be sure to check out some of the great golf gear through our links. A portion of the proceeds from all affiliate links is donated to veterans’ charities, and helps to support this wite, so we can support our Veterans’ Events, so you can gear up and give back at the same time!
This is more than just a golf tournament; it’s a chance to connect with fellow patriots, celebrate our veterans, and contribute to a truly worthwhile cause. The camaraderie and the focus on veteran culture make the AllenForce “Par-Tee” a standout event.
So, what do you think? Ready to “Par-Tee” for our vets? I encourage you to check out the AllenForce website for the latest details on registration and sponsorship. Frank, such a great write up and thank you for your support of our mission at AllenForce! As a non-golfer, and adrenaline junkie, I wanted to appeal to others like me to make it inclusive in coming out to support through a sport that may or may not be in their comfort zone. And FUN always is in the zone! 🙂
